With Rush the hypocrite urging his listeners to come to Democratic Underground, I just thought I'd say "hi" to some of them. I have some thoughts I'd like to get out of my chest.

Dear Republicans,

Let me tell you all a quick thing about Bush, incase you're too stupid to read the news yourselves. Your "fiscally conservative" President has given us the RECORD budget and the RECORD deficit. That's right, they're both RECORD HIGHS!!! You all call him a "fiscal conservative." Do you right wing idiots see the problem here, or are you all as stupid as I thought?

Don't you know that the GOP isn't about fiscal conservatism any more. That went out with... uh... er... gee, when was that ever true, actually?

The GOP is about power and money. It's about getting, holding, and using power in order to make themselves and their friends money, no matter what the cost to the country or to the fate of their mortal souls.

And isn't that what Bush is all about?

6. blame Congress!

in a South Carolina paper last weekend, I saw a political cartoon featuring a large man labeled "Congress" sitting at a fully loaded table and gobbling everything in sight. next to him sits a bewildered looking George Bush.

so you see, the deficit is actually the fault of Congress for passing all those spending bills.

(sorry folks, I haven't been able to find this cartoon online)
