2. Common practice
And if the MDs become aware that you are MD shopping just to continually get new scripts, and do not stop you, the MDs are in trouble with the DEA as well. They can have their medical licenses yanked.

5. How much do you want to bet that the MDs

would see court time before Rush ever does?

11. The pharma industry won't be happy with you one bit.
Better be careful because they have low friends in high places.

7. I don't think the "doctor shopping" went well because why would
Rush be making withdrawals from the bank for just under $10,000?
Why would he be in Denny's parking lot with the cigar box full of "clams?"

If Rush was doing 20 pills a day or whatever the number is, there is no way in hell
a doctor would give him that many pills a day. I had a pain prescription for darvacet
and they limit the refills and the time you can get them. One time I ran out before the
date to refill it and they refused. I had to have them call my doctor, and he had them
put me on the phone. He grilled me and asked me why I ran out so soon, I told him
I had more than usual pain attacks that week. Finally he gave them permission to refill
my prescription.

So Rush went from doctor to doctor to get more drugs. Then he had to buy some of them
on the street. I would be interested to compare the dates he got pain pills from a doctor
to the dates he bought them through his maid.

It sounds like doctor #1 cut him off, in steps doctor #2, then he cuts him off, in steps
doctor #3, then he cuts him off, in steps doctor #4, then he cuts him off.

Then he had to get the maid to buy his drugs on the street.

8. Now he knows what med MJ patients have to deal with
...find the doctor...not the one sleazy enough to be bought-off, but the one honorable and brave enough to disobey the federal directive "recommending" against precribing marijuana to anyone.

10. further evidence of conspiracy to commit fraud
i can not understand how this is not a federal crime since it deals with breaking federal laws, ie., transportantion and distribution across state lines of restricted narcotics.

however, if "oxycontinman" goes to state prison it is rougher and a lot worse than doing federal time.
