Dissolving and injecting the contents of OxyContin can slow down or stop breathing and lead to death. Injecting OxyContin can also kill the tissue around the injection site and trigger heart and lung problems.

Concerning the new evidence against Rush, and the sheer volume of drugs he was injesting, it is only logical to infer that Rush has "graduated" from oral to intraveneous narcotics abuse. You cant do THAT MUCH of a "heroin-like" drug w/o developing a tolerance, and degenerating into neddle use...

1. Okay let me be straight with you here! Shooting, Snorting makes me SICK!

I'm of a generation where a snort of Scotch, and a cigarette were "NO/NO's"

There was NO WAY I could sniff Cocaine or shoot Heroine. I guess one generations "cup 'o tea" is another generations.....but never wanted to go down that hole....with the "dealers" and other "crap" one had to go through to get my fix. And, whatever "I DID" was legal at the time even if I was "underage."

I can't understand why people needed to go into the whole "Culture" thing which involved "Middlemen" and why "snorting and shooting" became a really big deal?

If you can't do it with alcohol and cigarettes...what is your life about anyway? And forget Marijuana.....I tried it once like Clinton and said"

What is it? Now we gotta do Oxycontin to "fit in" or "salve our consciences?"

Rush is a "Druggie." Same as anyone else who abuses substances. No excuse for him.

3. Rush is a victim

of corporate high tech drug dealing. Apparently controlled substances aren't that well controlled.

It's not Rush's fault that he is a glutton who found that he could support his drug habit by injecting hate into the minds of millions through mass media. If anyone, you'd have to argue that Bill Clinton is the one to blame for Rush's drug problem and I'm not going to go through the thousands of ways to justify that. Face it, libruhls - Bill Clinton is to blame for everything.

4. Even his cast-iron stomache could not handle such large volumes

...volumes of black-market, "heroin-like" narcotic drugs...

I dont think you can spend that much $$$ and buy that much smack w/o developing a tolerance to oral ingestion...He cant get "kicks" from just pills anymore.

Everyone knows that abusers of the "Heroin-Like "drugs often start out with pills, but soon degenerate into needles- just as the cocaine fiend eventually turns to 'free-base" or "crack"...
