If Bush hadn't "won" in 2000
...what would he be doing now ? I think he still had 2 years left on his governorship, so I guess I'm wondering what he would be doing after his political career was over. I just can't see him writing (reading ?) a book, or going on a lecture series, or doing any of a host of the usual things high-profile political figures might do in similar circumstances.

Any thoughts ?

3. Texas Gov
Perry was elected. Ugh Just last year. Wouldn't that be a time for Bush to run again?

4. He and Ken Lay would continue wife swapping.

George would go back to sniffing that awesome CIA cocaine that daddy gets him off of hookers thighs. And attending ceremonial baseball games during times(hours) that he would actually be sober.

Laura would continue her hot romance with juan the latin sensation gardener. He knows how to treat her bush.

5. He'd go back to being Gov. and win again in 2002 (term limits?)
depending on how much he'd lose by, he could again. If Gore were President, we certainly wouldn't have gone around criticizing the Repug's patriotism, and Lieberman wouldn't have been in an undisclosed location most of the time. We'd also have Bin Laden caught by now, and we wouldn't have invaded Iraq.

6. Planning a coup. Like Wall St did when FDR was president.
Or pulling the strings to cause a 2nd Great Depression. Or both.
