Dean's anger.
I'm a long time Dean supporter (since Feb) and have always wondered where this "Dean is incredibly angry and furious all the time" idea came from. He gets fired up when speaking at a rally, but he's not being angry, he's being passionate. Where has he shown this legendary rage? When? I've never seen it. Any examples? And no, I don't want some silly pictures that show him with his face contorted as he's in the middle of a sentence. That's what everyone looks like when they're speaking loudly and passionately.

1. It's just another meme.
Just like Gore twisted the truth and invented the internet, Dean is now "too angry", and according to Charles Krauthammer, PNAC affiliate, he's also "delusional". Expect these descriptors to continue. Even recently, Gloria Borger of CNBC was repeating the 'Gore invented the internet' lie--so expect to hear about Dean's intense anger and delusionality up until 2011 or so.

3. He gave himself that label
He has defined himself perfectly throughout this campaign. He has given the press the very labels they use to describe him (frugal, angry, etc.) so it has become more difficult for the opposition to pin negative labels on him. so now they are talking about 'cold' anger vs. 'hot' anger, etc.

It is ludicrous of them, because they are playing in his ball park. He keeps defining the terms of the debate then they keep caving.

6. Phoney RNC dig that's repeated often enough by Faux to stick...
The first basic rule of marketing is to *repeat* your message. The RW knows this, and they go at it 24/7.

10. Not fair
for you to act like it's the right wing who's doing it. Frankly, it's people on the left, people who claim to be well meaning democrats, people like John Kerry who repeat it over and over until it sticks.

7. It's an excersize in intellectual dishonesty
sad, no?

Take a look at the debates. I see nine folks up there and not a one of 'em strikes me as "too angry" (though Kucinich may make that impression from time to time).

I don't see Dean as acting any angrier than any of the others. It's bullshit. Laughable bullshit even. But hey, those guys who are falling by the wayside, they cling to it during their last gasping breath. ;-)

8. It's amazing isn't it?
I'm surprised that his detractors haven't come out and said that he's the "tired" candidate, since he's always talking about how tired he is of being divided.

9. Don’t let it get to you
It just shows how desperate they are because they have nothing else.
