ignorant c-span host-ess.....grr....what's her name?

This c-span hostess this morning. What's her name?

A caller on the Dem line was pointing out that George Bush was absent from his military duty for a year, and gave the url www.bushawol.com.

The c-span woman said, snottily, "And do you believe everything you read on the internet?"

When the caller tried to point out that the actual military documents are available at bushawol.com, she got cut off summarily.

Anyone see that? This c-span woman doesn't know that actual documents are available online AND she perpetuates the myth that internet research is all bogus.

I want to write to her by name.

The Boston Globe ran this story about 2 weeks before the election (sometime around that time) and nobody said a word - some people later said the DWI story was leaked deliberately to take attention away from the AWOL story

I enjoy watching a lot of events on their channels, mainly because I don't have to listen to the a-hole pundits; however, I haven't been able to watch any of their morning show because the hosts are awful.

So, please: is there someone good I should watch for? Thanks.

8. Pedro seems pretty even handed

and usually lets people get their whole comment on..

People have a bad habit of leading UP to their main point, and most of the time they get cut off before they make their salient point..

When I call, I always have a cheat sheet, and I start with the most impostant point, so that if they do cut me off, I at least got my money's worth for my phone call..

What I really wish c-span would do is when there is no house or senate in session, instead of showing endless repeats of Heritage Foundation and AEI meetings, that they would just have a whole day of open phones...moderated , to eliminate the kooks, but if they would allow 2 minutes per caller, and notify the pols in advance, they could surely get an earful about what their consituents are really thinkg about :)

They will never do it though, because they could not control the content:(
