Gep was strong this morning
His was the only speech I saw of the Cspan coverage of the Florida convention, and I thought he did very well. He got the crowd fired up, and it was nice to see audience members that were holding signs for other candidates on their feet in applause for parts of his speech.

2. Every time I see him I get a good feeling
but I sense that he doesnt resinate enough to win this primary, its a shame though, I think he came into this with a very good overall take on the issues and would be a good candidate.

3. He's not memorable.
I can't remember what show he was on this past week, Leno maybe? Anyway, he was talking about how people knew he was somebody, but never could figure out who. He presented himself very well on the show IMHO, especially since he's one of the only Dem Presidential Candidates I had given almost no consideration to (Lieberman gets none, sorry. I mean, I'd still vote for Joe if I absolutely had to, but...he's not left enough for me) but thats another story. Rambling thoughts and all lol.

But that is Gep's problem, I think. He's not memorable enough. But I was impressed with what I could see of him.

4. I missed it but..
I missed Gephardt; maybe they will rerun it on cspan.

However, I've always kinda liked him; especially right after 9-11 and the homeland security thing along with when the tax cut thing came up. He stood next to Daschle and looked like a tower of fire--could be daschel looked too much like a limp noodle..I don't know lol.

Anyway, I don't know what the deal is with Gep. He doesn't get much air time, but I like him AND Edwards for there stance on Nafta and concern for the "common" citizen. Tonight on cspan, Kucinich REALLY looked good too.........ahhhhhhhh geez, I don't know.
I would eagerly vote for either Gep or Edwards if they were the last ones standing. It doesn't look good for them...alas :(
Clark and Dean are definately NOT my choice(though I will NOT vote for a republican). One is too close to the republican party and corporate interests and waffles too much and Dean is for the yuppies and globalization. Maybe we need a viable THIRD party. It's like the repugs have their base solidly in place but there's no place else for the rest of us to go but into the Dem party, if we are not conservatives. That means the Dem party is too divided in substance. WE NEED A THIRD PARTY! I'm for the party of the common citizen, civil liberties, Labor and universal health care. I'm an FDR democrat.
EEK, Sugarbleus
