4. the disconnect is amazing

one of the letters at the bottom:

"I know there are still many Americans that do not believe in us being over here. Those same people are not here, and in my opinion they do not hold the right to open their pie hole. We are here trying to give the Iraqi people the same rights and freedom from oppression as they do back in the states."

so do we have the "same rights and freedom" or not, or is it only when we agree with you? if we have freedom, we should be able to open our pie holes. freedom = right to dissent. if we do not, then we are living under Saddam-like repression, right?

according to this guy, we want to give the Iraqis the right to shut their pie holes if they disagree with the US military.

i wish these people would take 5 seconds and actually think through what they are saying.
