Why isn't the media reporting the Good news in the war on terror? Seems once again "our intelligence" sucks. www.washingtonpost.com

1. How dare you question?
We're fighting a war against evil!

It's not like they were American kids.

3. Exactly!
The headline should have said "9 kids killed in Afghan. according to some Muslim, terrorist, jihad, guy. Acoording to the "good guys" no one was killed and hey look in could have been 10 kids." Come on!! Let's start reporting the positive that's going on overthere.

9. "the first casulty of war is truth".....should be changed to : before ,
during and after with this administration.

Our media has been so diligent in thier investigative journalism efforts.

And had an interview with a reporter in Afghanistan.

Philadelphia Inquirer has the story on page 16 (with football and snow on the front page).

5. I haven't heard Russert mention it.
Has anyone heard about it on any of the other Sunday morning shows?

7. The extent to which CNN can convolute the English language:
I heard them mention this tragedy today in this manner:

9 children were found dead in Afghanistan, near where a US missile was used to target suspected militants..

You can tell the media is just parroting a Pentagon press release.

It's almost as bad as the other article quoted here that said "Nine children were among 10 people killed.."

The use of the passive language is remarkably effective, isn't it? It's all just a puzzle, this relationship between missiles and dead children..still investigating..move along people.
