10. Years ago, I worked with a German emigre who told me he liked Hitler

I was a waitress and this man worked in the kitchen. One day a women who was a Polish emigre told me to take her shift. I was a passive, not-too-with-it girl in my early twenties right off the farm, so I agreed, but was sort of mad. This is why I think the guy confided in me.

This man was sitting there and after she left, he said, "You can't trust those Polish people, I hate them! I was stationed there in World War II and those people will shoot you in the back!"

I was very confused because I was assuming he was in the AMERICAN army, even though I knew he was German. It just didn't occur to me that he could be a Nazi because Nazis were like Hogan's Heroes characters to me, I guess.

He then told me that the German people have a joke that Hitler lives in Spain and wear slippers because they put WW II in his shoes. He went on about everything and I even think he talked about shooting villages of people, but I am not sure. I was sort of nonplussed by the whole thing because this guy was always really nice to me and I just couldn't gel it in my mind. I never even told the other people I worked with for some reason, I just put it out of my head.

He may have just been playing with my head with a lot of it, but I do believe he meant what he said about Hitler.

That is why I think that many Republicans will follow Bush or other bad Republicans while they do terrible things, and they will defend it all to the end. Scary.

The way I heard it, when you die, they bury you and you go to Tribulation for a long time--a thousand years or more. (Catholics call this Purgatory.) Tribulation is no fun whatsoever; it's kind of like temporary hell. After the Tribulation comes the Rapture when the faithful are all swept up into Heaven.

A lot of the local biblethumpers tell me the Tribulation is on earth while you're alive and you get swept into heaven immediately after you drop, but others say we have to go through it after we die.

Either way, it sounds like a big mind control racket to me.
