"it is coming more and more to seem the General is the one
who Democrats will trust to take their fight to the GOP"

that certainly goes for this one!

3. Just something to ask...
as much as I'm inclined to believe that Clark is giving Dean a run for his money, I didn't see any polls citing where Clark was narrowing Dean's lead. Some polls out there show that they are neck and neck but that's been the same for a while.

I do want to hear that Clark is doing well but proof would be most helpful.

6. patience grasshopper : - )
I have a pretty good feeling we will see some really good poll numbers by the second week of December. But the gain in NH was good news. The General is on the move.

5. Thanks for finding that
An interesting read, although anything can happen and usually does. The surprize in the article was the Lieberman kudos. With most of my news coming from various on line communities, the article had what seemed to be a more "on the ground" view of the Lieberman campaign. Anyway, the idea of this becoming a two man race is more to the point, and something the corporate media is either slow or unwilling to fathom.

Wesley Clark once said that eventually this will become a two person race, and he intends to be one of those two.

May the force be with us.

7. The admiration of Lieberman...surprised me too.
As did the trashing of Kucinich. Didn't much appreciate that.
And certainly don't agree with his assessment of DK.

11. Well,
he is a moderate independent, or whatever he called himself.

Important point, though, about how the L-man is running a campaign based solely on integrity (real or imagined), that, more importantly, is immune from upswings in the economy or Iraq.

8. Nice read.
Thanks for posting it!
<snip>
But if we had to predict what things will look like a month or so from now, we at The Moderate Independent expect to see General Clark move up to at least an equal footing with Governor Dean, and, in the end, it is coming more and more to seem the General is the one who Democrats will trust to take their fight to the GOP in the end.

The coming debate this Tuesday in New Hampshire is the perfect moment for this race. If the General makes a strong show, he will solidify his move into second place there, while Governor Dean can firm up his hold on first or leave open the chance for a late charge from General Clark. Finally, a debate worth watching.<snip>

Niiiice!

IMPORTANT REMINDER!!!!

Don't forget to watch Hardball College Tour tomorrow night AND the debate on Tuesday. This should send him up in the polls if he does well in both and I suspect he will. He just gets better and better each time I see him.

9. I'm glad I'm not the only one that's felt this way:
Congressman Kucinich, we don’t need to see you yell anymore. All you do at the debates is give angry, insulting responses that aren’t gaining you support. So again, why not help the party and remove yourself? (Video dating is not supposed to work this way.)

12. I actually disagree with the author on this.
I think Kucinich helps to keep us focused on traditional liberal values. He also brings a lot of disaffected voters to the party. And ... gulp ... if he left, I think his supporters would probably go mostly to Dean. Which is unfortunate - there are a lot of typical Kucinich type people in the Clark camp.

13. Perhaps
But I also think he serves as a distraction in the debates (All I can think of at the moment is one of the earlier ones, where he claimed that Clark worked on some policy document for the Iraq invasion, with no substantiation).

10. Great article!
Thanks for the site as well...adding it to my favorites.

I especially appreciate it's pragmatic approach because I tend to get too ideological and must continually remind myself I am so in the minority of the American voter on that!
