2. the Dime
Truth be told I would not have crapped in my pants if a new dime had been created with Reagan's image on it, so long as FDR dimes continued to be produced. But replacing FDR on the dime is a No No for me, and apparently for Mrs. Reagan as well.

5. I would ask for two nickels instead of a dime for change
I would not want that fool in my pants. I would not want his face on my toilet paper, for that matter.

9. Even Nancy disagrees with replacing FDR with RR
"While I can understand the intentions of those seeking to place my husband's face on the dime, I do not support this proposal and I am certain Ronnie would not," the former first lady said in a statement released Friday.

"When our country chooses to honor a great President such as Franklin Roosevelt by placing his likeness on our currency, it would be wrong to remove him and replace him with another," she said. "It is my hope that the proposed legislation will be withdrawn."

Here's mine:

Oh, no. FDR is on the dime because he had polio and supported the March of Dimes. I have not forgotten the children who were afflicted or the children who were spared. I do not expect you to forget, either. I know I will remember, come Election Day, any elected official who dare lay a finger on the FDR dime. Franklin Delano Roosevelt led this country through the Great Depression when "Brother, can you spare a dime?" was the catchword. We're going to need that dime.
