A Bizarre Effort to Tie Dean and Hillary Clinton Together
I know nothing about The Washington Dispatch but from this one piece, I think it is meant to wrap fish and line birdcages. While written to target Hillary, I believe it's primary goal was to make voters think Howard Dean and Hillary had the exact same agenda so the anti-Hillary gang will get all riled up.

A funny thing happened on the way to the political center for Hillary Rodham Clinton. Her true colors and contempt for all things President Bush and conservative America poured out and she took an angry left turn for all to see and hear in her trifecta of Sunday morning TV interviews yesterday.

Calling anyone who didn’t agree with her angry liberal views part of the vast right wing “apparatus” Clinton cackled and chatted her way away from the political center and directly into to the middle of the Howard Dean angry left wing of the Democrat Party.

Howard Dean made a brief appearance on FOX News Sunday so the Hillary political machine scheduled her to appear on the friendly Sunday morning shows at NBC, ABC, and CBS to combat the Vermont presidential wannabe’s momentum. The plan, make Hillary seem like the opposite of Dean, moderate and centrist. But Hillary could not pull it off as she failed to show leadership, especially for anyone who is a centrist from the Democrat Party.

She came across as Howard Dean in drag.

1. That's the most idiotic thing I've ever read.
I saw her appearance; she came across as pretty damn milquetoast, IMHO, definitely not an "angry leftist." She was challenged by Russert to defend her cahnged postion on Steel Tariffs and handled it by saying "times have changed," etc. Definitely not an uncentrist position. "Howard Dean in drag?!" Are you okay? Do you need to lie down? What is it with RWers and the concept of reality? They seriously need to find some equilibrium; their idea of "center" is way over in my peripheral vision. How they could possibly tie her to the Dean campaign is beyond me.

Newt was on the same show and came off as smug and hot-headed, even to RW suck-up Russert.

2. The wing nut machine is in trouble. It's confused, which

isn't surprising.

It has saturated itself with so much innuendo and hack punditry that it itself doesn't know what to believe anymore!

Rove et al. really don't know what's going on, so they're throwing excrement in all directions.

3. they sure did get the message about "angry"
from the talking points. They mentioned it so much it made them look as though they are the angry.

Hillary's advantage--she is quite used to walking the gauntlet and quite used to the verbal abuse thrown her way. She is seasoned.

4. The humorous part about that is that they're starting in so
early that the "angry" ploy will fizzle out before it even has time to matter.
