As the biggest Gore supporter here, I offer my help!

As you all know, I am probablly the biggest Gore supporter here. I have actively been involved in the draft and have talked to Mr. Gore a few times the past weeks. Today's news does not really suprise me because of Dean's great success. If Gore can support Dean to end the Bush Presidency, so can I. Hopefully, this endorsement can end a end of oppression.

I must say, I can wait to see Gore and Dean campaigning together, it shall be pretty cool!

4. I wondered if those who were trying to draft the President would be sad

I attended a Draft Gore rally in Nashville and later when he said he wasn't going to run I felt slightly down, but really started paying attention to my other favs at that point.
Bizarre that the real President would be endorsing another candidate for the nomination....

I didn't really want Gore to run again, because I thought too many less informed voters would judge him on having "lost" to Bush once already. But I have a lot of respect for the man, and I am thrilled we have his endorsement. I would love to see Gore representing our country in a high admin office. I think Gore has really shown strength, character, and emotion lately that didn't shine as much during his Presidential campaign. Actually, watching his recent speech made me sad, thinking we SHOULD have him in office already. I met him in person once, and he was funny and charming, and I'll always remember it.

i remember several weeks ago on here you insisting there was NO way gore would endorse dean... you said you knew him and worked in close contact with him...

I was suprised. I have not actually talked to him about his endorsement, but I am suprised. So, yes, I eat my words.
