Dean and Kucinich and taxes

Kucinich has introduced a bill, The Progressive Tax Act of 2003, to lower taxes on the middle class while raising them on the rich.

Why can't Howard Dean endorse this bill?

If Dean called for lower taxes on the middle-class he'd win. As long as he's promising to raise taxes on the middle-class (by $300 according to Dean, by $2,000 according to the Republican Club for Growth) he'll lose.

If anyone reading this has connections to the Dean campaign, can you please urge them to consider a different tax-message?
