Janklow Guilty on all counts
Edited on Mon Dec-08-03 06:55 PM by alphafemale
I'm rather surprised. I thought he would at least get lesser charges if not walk away.

6. So they didn't buy the "diabetes defense"?
Good to hear! I couldn't believe it when his attorney brought up the info about Janklow's diabetes. What a fucking red herring that was.

To claim Janklow had the accident because his blood sugar was low (because he hadn't eaten that day) is a slap in the face and an insult to the millions of Americans who successfully manage their diabetes every day.

I have little sympathy for this man, who is all in favor of throwing the book at those who commit crimes lesser than his, but will not admit that he was guilty of what happened that night in August.

I know for a fact that Janklow has made some REALLLLY BAD enemies in his time-- many of them in prison. I hope for his sake he can survive prison life.
