Where goeth Joe's supporters?

After today, I would think not to Dean. Two questions: 1) how substantial are they (he seems to poll fairly respectably in places, so I am guessing they are somewhat substantial and 2) will they change the dynamics of the race if they move to Clark?

I am thinking the same things about Kerry supporters , but like Joe I don't know if time is of the essence here.

1. it depends on which type of supporter.
I think people who supported Lieberman because of his association w/Gore are not at all unlikely to shift to Dean... As to people who supported him for the policies.... well, beats me, he is kind of the odd man out.

2. If you listen to AP, Edwards. ALL OF 'EM.
Enough to push Edwards to the front. Just ask.

Later.

6. Lieberman's "poll numbers" are all name recognition
or a few hard core republicans who want to say they are voting Dem for some perverted reason.

9. In Connecticut, a lot of official Lieberman supporters have Dean as #2
pick, and some state reps who have not endorsed are waiting for Lieberman to withdraw so that they can endorse Dean. There are a couple Kerry and Kucinich supporters, but most have Dean as either their unoffical #1 or #2 pick.

And the Nov 21 Quinnipiac poll has Dean closing the gap in Connecticut with Lieberman -- 23% for Dean and 28% for Lieberman.
