Striker roll-over in Iraq: 2 US Dead and 1 wounded per ABC radio news

Can't put this in LBN because I don't have a link, but I heard this on ABC radio news about an hour ago. One of the new Striker vehicles rolled off an embankment into a canal. 2 US soldiers dead, 1 wounded.

I wanted to make sure this didn't go down the memory hole.

They're heavy, kinda like a tank. an embankment caved in and they rolled over into a canal.

We don't "occupy" IraqNam, you know. We have a number of compounds surrounded by concrete blast fences and we scurry from one to the next, getting shot at the whole time.

We are surrounded. We are trapped. The insurgents will win, whether it takes a year or ten years.

This stupidity (sooooo soon after Vietnam) is breathtaking in its depth.
