I would prefer a Dean/Graham ticket.
I think we need a vp who know the ropes of Washington. Also Graham would lock up Florida. Graham foreign policy would be valuable as he was the chairman of the 911 commission and chairman of the committe of foreign relations.

1. Bob's a great guy
but I don't think he has the fire it's gonna take to bring these bastards down. Give him a cabinet slot.

4. The fact that Graham's daughter is now working for the Dean
campaign indicates that this is a good possibility.

5. first off
getting Graham wouldnt ensure Dean's "lock up" of Florida, by which I'm assuming you mean "win" Florida. As a Floridian I can tell you that there are very few swing voters here, the lines are already drawn. Either you are voting for Bush or you are voting against him and nobody's changing his/her mind. It's because we have a lot of silver-hairs down here that watch Fox news and hate "commies."

9. I don't see that.
I just don't see what you see. There are the usual suspects who think George is God, and Jeb is Jesus. But there are oh so many now who are just plain angry and scared.

I am a silver-hair, to which you appear to contemptuously refer. Most of the creatures like this that I talk to are waking up.

7. perfect ticket
The Dean/Clark people are thinking with their hearts and not with their heads.

Dean needs an "insider" to balance the "outsider"

That's Bob Graham.

Him being from Florida is a bonus.

He doesn't need fire. In fact, him being more low-key might be an asset to Dean. Swing voters don't like fire.

8. He needs a southerner if he gets the nomination
The last non southern democrat to win the presidency had a southern running mate.
