Will name recognition get Lieberman some votes? |
|
I think the reason he is polling high in some places is only because he was the vp candidate in 2000.
What say you?

1. He may have some support |
|
simply because of name recogntion. However, I don't think his supporters will come to the polls.

2. Gore's endorsement of Dean will devalue the name recognition factor |
|
The question is, how quickly and by how much?

4. That will probably be the death blow to LIEberman's campaign |
|
:) Now if he'll just bow out and let a real democrat take his seat in senate.

the only lines Lieberman consistently gets applause for are in regard to his having been Gore's VP choice in 2000.
he can't really talk about that anymore because it just highlights the fact that Gore didn't choose him this time around.

8. And another thing about the name recognition... |
|
It seems plausible to me that some Democrats think that the name recognition factor *in itself* is a plus for Lieberman's candidacy. And Gore's pretty much blown that theory out of the water.

5. it gets him at least half of his 10% or whatever he's polling |
|
but the other 5-6% are genuine supporters. Believe it or not, there are moderate-conservative DEMS!

He is doing well in places like OK where it's a little more conservative.

9. I've posted that I think Lieberman |
|
actually works for the Rim-publican party. They convinced him to hang in there as long as possible, just to divert a few votes from the front-runner.
