They have a large border and I cannot imagine that weapons and fighters (terrorists) are not coming into that country as we speak. There was a report today on the cable news that Osama bin Laden said he was going to Iraq because Americans were easier to kill there than in Afghanistan.

Just like the North Vietnamese had the Ho Chi Minh trail to smuggle arms to the south, we should assume that the same is happening now. We do not have enough troops to police the borders in Iraq. If I were a betting man, I would say we have a situation in Iraq that will go on and on as long as we are there. Those people are not going to surrender and we cannot use enough force to change their way of thinking, as some have suggested.

1. There were piles of weapons
sitting on the roads...conveniently.... from day one.

Everything you'd ever want or need.

Americans ignored them.

2. I don't know
but a bunch of dirty bombs have been stolen from the ex-Soviet sattilite state of Moldova. The Country is in Central Asia, close enough for Afgahnistan and maybe even Iraq.

Haven't the Democratic nominees told the Bush administration to buyback the nuclear weapons from Russia and ex-Soviet Sattilite state? ??

cheaper and safer than aquiring nukes in these pre-emtive times
