Poll question: Do you support ABB?
Can we on DU rise above the alternately rancorous and smug responses to the Gore endorsement and reaffirm our commitment to ABB? Props to supporters of other candidates who offered their congratulations to the Dean supporters, but those voices were largely drowned out by my-candidate-or-nobody voices. Do those voices really represent us on DU or are they just the noisy minority? I'm not trying to minimize the differences between the candidates, and I don't support the view that the nomination is all sewed up before the primaries even begin. But eventually, there will be only one nominee. Can't we all support the nominee, whoever it turns out to be, as a HUGE improvement on Bush?

Another GD thread by Will Pitt rumbles about civil war in the Democratic Party, and how that could kill our chances in the general election. Have we really come to that? Are we ready to hand our enemies that victory?

9. I will give the maximum to whichever Dem is leading after March 2
I will give the maximum of $2,000 to whichever Democrat is leading after the March 2, 2004 super-primaries.

Even if Lieberman is leading (I've long disliked him), I'll give $2,000.

Anybody but Bush.

16. nope.
I'm not handing over my vote at the door, especially after the last couple of campaigns. The likelihood that I'll vote for anyone other than the Dem is miniscule, but if Lieberman resurrects

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! oh, excuse me...

but if Lieberman resurrects and wins the primary, or if the party bigwigs engineer what would essentially be a backroom coup against Dean (as opposed to Dean simply losing in the primaries), it's certainly possible.
