One of the first civil debates in a long time and Lieberman ATTACKS!
Notice all but ONE candidate didn't attack other Democrats tonight? Kucinich didn't attack Kerry, Kerry didn't attack Dean, Dean didn't attack Clark, Clark didn't attack Gephardt, Gep didn't attack Sharpton, Sharpton didn't attack Braun. But then you've got Holy Joe - who continues his assault on Howard Dean. Joe, shove your fucking conservative policies up your ass!

2. He's hoping that enough people will feel sorry for him
because he didn't get a phone call from Gore earlier that they will vote for him. I think this would be the sore loser's strategy.

4. Progressive tsunami
It would seem there is a corrective to the DNC --- 'we're conservatives too!' stragey going on. Gore aligning with Dean, Dean taking front-runner status, threatens the status quo and power of the center-right DNC. Lieberman is a part of that status quo. If Dean wins the nomination, much less the election, the Democratic Party will be moving back to its more socially progressive moorings. in my humble opinion. Joe is getting peevish.

5. That's odd, I seem to remember his debate with Cheney
he got down on his knees and worshipped at the Cheney shrine. Not a word of criticism for Cheney or Bush.
