about Bush files from his governorship?
This morning my local papaer went on and on how Dean should relase all information form his stint as Gov of Vermont. Did'nt Shurb put all his records far beond the prying eyes of reporters? I know none of daddy bush's records have been released, but have any of shrubs?
I intend to skewer to the best of my ablity this very partisian paper and I could use your help so I have my facts stright.

1. Oh, but Shrub has opened all his records.
It's just that you can't see any of them unless the TX Atty Gen'l lets you see them, and so far he hasn't let anybody.

So, you see, Shrub is a clean, open, honest kinda guy, unlike that damn' Dean, who's keeping alla his stuff under seal.

he did not write those laws, probably a LBJ invention.

3. flat out false
Bush moved his records, contrary to Texas law, to his dad's library. Then when he got called on that he put them in the hands of the the Texas AG which is also contrary to Texas law. In contrast the priviledge used by Dean has been in existance for the last three governors. It is widely recognized by all officals of Vermont including the AG and the Supreme Court.
