Gephardt causes me an involuntary physical reaction to switch channels
Edited on Tue Dec-09-03 09:34 PM by Bombtrack
whenever he starts to speak. I can't really nail it down. It's not that he's my least favorite guy in the campaign, which he isn't, or the guy I'm furthest away from politically, which he's not. He just gives me this instantaneous feeling that I don't care what the hell he's going to say next.

2. He causes an involuntary physical reaction alright...
but it has nothing to do with switching channels.

3. It's the "no eyebrows" thing
Very disturbing...he looks like Powder, from that cheezy movie.

5. I really don't know why people give Geppy such a hard time
He really is a fighter for the average guy and has a terrific sense of humor.

7. you can't handle his truth!
just kidding. He's a funny looking guy, the funnier thing is his daughter looks exactly like him, but with bleached spiky hair.

8. Gephardt is another candidate the Repugs fear. The three candidates
feared most by the Bush admin are Kerry, Clark and Gephardt.

10. I really really doubt they fear Gephardt
They probably want him almost as much as they want Dean. They're both middle-class-tax-raisers, and Gephardt has a 200 billion dollar healthcare increase as well. Which is what the republicans want to face, someone who reinforces the bloated goverment image. It also doesn't help that he's so married to big labor

9. This is terrible to admit, because he's a Dem

But Gep just really, really bores and annoys me, even though I agree with a lot of stuff he says. My friend describes his voice as "water poured onto Wonderbread."

Maybe it's just because he's midwestern and I'm urban so I'm biased against his style.

EDIT: Sorry, I meant "urban coastal." But I guess that already reveals my bias. I didn't think any of y'all had the Internet, so I guess I underestimated the danger. =P
