One regret
I was impressed by what Gore said about the Iraq war.
It really needed to be said that the judgement of the dems who voted for the war should come into question. At most optimistic- they were conned. At most cynical- it was a monumental political miscalculation. I think it is something that is ignored when people try to forgive those votes.
I do think that saying it without favoritism might have been more effective, however.

1. I don't think they were conned
I think they thought it would be a cakewalk - they agreed with Bush. They weren't conned; they were just plain stupid and derelict beyond belief. I simply cannot forgive anyone who voted for the IWR. It was shameful and disgusting.
