Right now Dean/Clark need to unmask BushCo's plan to reinstate the Draft! |
|
And they need to continue to harp on this until election day! The general election should be framed as a choice between PEACE - and a return to the DRAFT in order to sustain ENDLESS WAR - (revealing BushCo plans to start perhaps 6 MORE WARS - all as equally unjustified as the Iraq attack over the phantom WMD's)!!
Dems need to promise now that they will get us THE HELL OUT OF IRAQ - and pledge to assure that our incredibly bloated defense budget is used for just that - DEFENSE! They must pledge to immediately reverse BushCo's illegal preemptive strike madness and their declared commitment to an endless war scheme (which I believe Dean has already pledged to do)!
DRAFT DRAFT DRAFT DRAFT DRAFT - Dems need to alert the public that a vote for Bush/Cheney is DEFINITELY a vote to reinstate THE DRAFT - and an invitation to start more unwinnable, lengthy, Vietnam type wars!!
There is NO other issue as crucial, nor as problematic for the evil Chimp!

1. They will eventually, I think |
|
If they're smart. They need to call on the Chimp to pledge NOT to reinstate the draft or to state that that is his intention.

3. The whore Rovian Chimp will say anything to get selected... |
|
Dems have to prove/demonstrate the fact that the DRAFT plays heavily into their plans - and they are bent on reinstating it - no matter what they may say before the election (ala Ah-nuld)! This should be done as soon as possible to set into the public's conciousness. As the criminal Iraq debacle continues to move towards becoming Vietnam in a desert - there will be NO positive way to spin escalating this or any other war-like actions from this Rogue Administration!

2. I could not agree more |
|
I was so dismayed this morning to hear a friend of my husband's laughing about how the "candidate who didn't get elected is endorsing the candidate who can't get elected", he was saying that he supported Dean because then they wouldn't have to worry about Nov. When I argued about Clark he laughed and said that Dems were so dumb that Gore took care of Clark for the Repukes. I for one do not agree but this is what is out their folks, when I talked about * being AWOL he laughed again and said that a "bad soldier is better than not being a soldier at all". Flame me all you want but it is what they are saying. I will work hard for whoever the nominee is, but if it turns out to be Dean he had better get out there and relentlessly start hammering at *'s AWOL issue and make the press listen or it could be toast for us.

5. I agree - Dean has to destroy the Chickenhawk Admin in a big way! |
|
AWOL has to be ripped to shreds on this! And being subtle won't cut it! It won't get America's attention! This would be easier for Clark to deal with - but Dean is a fighter - and understands that he's become the frontrunner by being just that!! (and reading DU!)

4. The only people publicly calling |

for the reinstatement of the draft are congressional Democrats. It would be silly to berate the bushies over this when members of our own party are working toward this goal.
