What the hell happened to the Plame invesigation?

And no, don't tell me things are still developing, or that this story will re-emerge, or to be patient.

It's dead and buried, people.

I do not have the words to express what an outrage the deep-sixing of this incredibly serious crime is, and the media's complicity. I am just stunned and deeply afraid for my country.

Remember Valerie Plame? Ms. Plame was the CIA undercover operative who was outed by the White House in effort to punish her husband former Ambassador Joseph Wilson, who had publicly stated in a July 6, 2003 op-ed in the New York Times, that despite President Bush’s statements to the contrary, Iraq had not attempted to purchase yellow cake uranium from Niger. The existence of that uranium, you may recall, was presented to the public as "evidence" that Iraq had nuclear weapons which, in turn, was used to justify our unilateral attack on Iraq

1. I too have been harping on this one; I have written and called all of the

'news' media (Faux, MSNBC, CBS ABC NBC PBS etc.); contacted candidate's web sites; written/called/e-mailed my representatives and anybody else's who accepts e-mail outside their own zip codes; have probably endagered my freedom, if not my life, by contacting the DoJ directly about this issue, demanding that the traitors in the White House be found and prosecuted (that's a lot of people, come to think of it....); written letters to the editors of several papers (none published, nobody would know what I was talking about, right??)

It just makes me SICK to think of what would have happened if this had gone on under Clinton...REAL treason...we would still be hearing about it.

Anyone willing to help with an onslaught of whatever kind of publicity we can drum up on this issue? Where can/should pressure be brought to bear in order for it to be effective?? Ideas??
