Another fine example of right-wing non-thought

My reply was, "'We had to destroy the village to save it,' only not so pithy." Another response was quite different:

To educate you a bit..... on the Fascism bit....

Fascism = Communism

Neither allow for free enterprise, the core of what this
nation was founded upon. Remember all the break-ups of
monopolies from the past and the laws in place in this
country on the subject.

As far as the Iraq issue, please note the geographical
location of this country. It is common sense that we are
there.

Some other things to consider why we are in that reagon:

1) September 11, 2001 is the only justification needed to
be in the Middle East the way we are. Clinton turned his
cheek MANY-MANY times over during his administration and
the result was Sept. 11, 2001. How much more are we
supposed to take before we stand up for ourselves and our
way of life?

2) It is better to fight the war on terrorism in the land
of its' origin than here in our streets.

3) Do you need a mushroom cloud in your back yard as proof
these nuts have the weapons and want to use them on us?
(Most of which I imagine have "Made in France" on them)

This condescending group of baseless assertions is straight from the FreeRepublic school of debate. It's attitudes like this that make me despair for my country.

I've already mentally kicked this person's ass around the block 18 times. I'd like to hear you rip this 'argument' to shreds.

What does Saddam have to do with 9/11? Even the white house came out a few months ago saying Saddam didn't have anything to do with 9/11. Bush is just trying to finish what his daddy started.

I do want justice for 9/11. Afghanistan was justified. OBL and Al-Quaeda(sp?) were responsible. We should be directing our efforts to catch OBL instead of mess with Saddam. We all hear about WMD and Saddam, what about Osama Bin Forgotten?

Having Saddam out of power is a good thing. He was a brutal mass murderer. However, America is not the world's police. If we were truly around to overthrow dictators and bring democracy everywhere we would have to invade China, some of eastern Europe, all of the middle east and pretty much all of Africa.

This war was about the threat of WMD. Bush and many others were so convinced that we had to invade Iraq or we will see mushroom clouds in our backyard.

Well, where are the WMD? What about that whole lie about Saddam trying to buy uranium from Niger?

This president exaggerated the threat of Saddam Hussein. If WMD still are not found by election day Bush needs to be voted out at the very least. If these republicans were so concerned with the crimes against humanity comitted by Saddam Hussein why didn't Reagan do anything about it when Saddam used chemical weapons on the Kurds in 1988? Why didn't daddy Bush do anything about Saddam's killing of the Shiites and Kurds after the first Gulf War? Saying that we invaded to make Iraq a free nation is just to cover this administration's ass about the non existant WMD. That was the reason we went to war in the first place and it was an exaggeration. Maybe even a flat out lie.

I could go on forever but I think that is enough for now.
