In fact in my broadcast I challenged them to answer their mail with real names and real addresses, but of course they disappeared.

I don't see any mention of Bush on your webpage.

My education reform website has inspired hate mail from liberals and conservatives alike, though most have apparently grown tired of flapping their jaws. I now get occasional hate mail related to my Jail4Bush site, but not much. It appears to me that the powers that be would prefer to treat it the same way they treat me when I run for office: Just ignore it and hope the public doesn't notice it.

7. What's the URL?

Since the URL you gave is http://www.expage.com/ANTIBUSHPAGE, I expected to see some mention of Bush there. If the anti-Bush stuff is in a guest book, your anti-Bush page should say, "visit my guest book to read some anti-Bush stuff."

Otherwise, it looks like a lame ad to me.

3. Death threat yesterday

Granted, my homepage is wide open for Repug scrutiny since I'm a candidate....but the "die, you liberal fag" request came yesterday

5. Aw, those.

As I was thinking about running for office (Campaign 2003), I received quite a few threats, ranging from libel to physical violence to death, and my website was hacked. The most astonishing threat was delivered as a private message on a chatboard by some jerk who claimed to be a member of Seattle IndyMedia. (And I think he was telling the truth there.)

He said there's a group of people in Seattle who can make people they don't like disappear - one minute you're there, the next you're gone. He said, "I might know these people, and I might not."

The amazing thing is that after I officially filed as a candidate, the threats practically ceased. I still got lots of insults, but no death threats. I think I solved some of my website problems by ditching Microshaft and putting my websites on Linux servers. Also, I now have more than a dozen websites, rather than just one.

I get hate mail every day. More when Dubya appears in trouble.

Nobody likes to be threatened, even anonymously, but every once in a while I get one like this:

11. I would post some of mine but I'm sure they all violate some rule

or other. I really can't find any that don't contain obscenities, ethnic slurs, and references to sexual acts with different people, usually Agent bin Laden (CIA, sabbatical). Most contain all of the above. The funniest part is that they are usually so full of wacky grammar and creative spelling but they almost invariably contain some reference to the writer being a real, true and/or Patriotic American, so I would assume that English is their first language, since most real true and/or Patriotic Americans who speak English as a second language have much better writing skills and are generally less inclined to send hate mail to people who frequently take exception to war crimes having been committed against their cousins.
