We hosted Kucinich people last night
My local Dem board had our monthly meeting last night and some Kucinich folks talked about DK. I hunted 'em down on the net and spoke with them several times on the phone.

They were very nice. They gave a great presentation and obvioiusly love their man. There were a few questions, not many. I volunteered the comment that I thought it was highly commendable that DK pointed at the crap the media was focusing on during the last debate and that I thought it was one of the best statements of the night. All agreed and the board enthusiastically praised the move.

It was a great meeting and I am so glad I went to the trouble to find and invite them. We all agreed while mingling afterward that whoever wins the nom, we're right behind him (unlikely to be CMB--hence the "him").

Just thought I'd send a shout out to Kucinich backers here on DU that you are well represented by some very fine folks here in the north country of Michigan. Very fine indeed.

I look forward to seeing them at our upcoming January event~rally~fundraiser. All candidates/campaigns welcome to table for their campaign. What fun!

Julie

4. Except people who choose Bush ...??
I admit I am having a hard time tolerating or enjoying a couple of friends who supported Bush and who haven't indicated that they plan to do anything different next time.

I need to get past it, but what has happened to this country is so bad..and to the world...how can I simply put politics out of my mind when I'm around them?

3. Kucinich people make it very easy
They are so nice, so genuine. Geez, after a few great conversations on the phone with the one lady from the DK camp we hugged when we met.

They were so appreciative of the invite.

I'd say the experience was uplifting and encouraging. :-)

5. Thanks very much JNelson6563
I frankly think the media wants Kucinich out because
he's rightfully critical of them, and because he's
the only candidate taking strong action against electronic
vote fraud.

I'm starting to think those BS debate questions were a
set up, a prelude to dumping DK and Sharpton and Braun
under the pretense of only covering candidates with a ton
of money and supposedly high poll numbers.

And I think we need to fight back, 'cause ABC is playing
real dirty.
