Will Bush Lose Next year?
To bring back the thread. What will it take to get people to learn about Bush's dirty deeds before next November?

1. We don't know. Too many things can still happen along the way.
As for people learning about bush's dirty deeds, I suspect that everyone who CARES already knows. Now as for those who can not name either of their senators, or governor, or one of our Dem candidates, let us hope they forget to vote, next year!! The criteria they would use for voting would make us crazy!!!

4. Not if the GOP and Media continue to...
blackball all the other candidates and Pump Up Dean as they have been doing. O yea lets throw in the fact that they also have been contributing to his campaign dating back into the summer.

Hmmmm wonder why they want Bush up against Dean?

Dean = Bush for 4 more years.

5. If history is any indication, he will lose.
Bush hasn't been able to win a presidential election yet.

:P

9. It depends on a lot of things, but the short answer is no
Incumbency carrries a lot of weight, which is probably what keeps Dubya from just floating off into the sky like a soap bubble. No matter what, though, whenever things get slow, or the Democratic candidate makes some sort of breakthrough, AF1 can land and some more empty promises (aka, flat out lies) be spread that guarantees the President top billing on the evening news, or the front page, or the...

If LBJ hadn't dropped out he still could have won that election, even with the riots in the streets and the country being torn apart over Viet Nam, and the murder of RFK and all the rest. He just lost heart at the end, and couldn't pay the price to go on.

Carter lost because he didn't have the balls to go on the air and accuse Reagan of interfering with the Iran situation the week before the election. So what if he couldn't prove it? What difference would that make. A public denunciation would have caused so much disruption that even RR wouldn't have been able to shrug it away.

Bush has all the power of the White House and a motivated GOP AND all the special interests you can shake a stick at behind him. He'll be incredibly hard to beat.

You know the rest of my rant so I'll spare everyone the bandwidth.

11. sounds like wishful thinking to me . . .
Bush has the advantage of incumbency and everything that goes along with it . . . he'll have a massive war chest, an ongoing war (and voters are generally reluctant to switch leaders during wartime), the ability to instigate a crisis whenever he needs to and, as a fallback position, the ability to manipulate the touchscreen voting machines in states that are close . . . the Democrats may be able to pull out a win, but it will take a huge amount of work, lots of money, and a fair amount of luck . . . jmho, but I think it's pretty accurate . . .
