Why aren't Republicans worried about "Starbucks Democrats"?

Why aren't they worried about affluent people in metropolitan areas, especially those on the West Coast or in the Northeast, that vote Democratic?

They are practicing the old 1968 southern strategy.
The South, the midwest and the mountain states.

If dems can make inroads to the midwest and mountain regions the republicans are losers forever. They just become the cranky old southern party at that point.

Buscuit and gravy dems need healthcare, education, jobs, and an America they recognize just as much as Starbucks dems

8. The Electoral College.

Affluent people in metropolitan areas in the West or Northeast are outnumbered. And they don't all vote Democratic.

As long as they have their cushy jobs, they won't have to face the reality of an economy that farms out jobs to the low bidder in India, China, Mexico, Indonesia, and more.
