I'm changing my avatar to Kucinich

I'm still undecided on which candidate I think would be the best, and DK has always been near or at the top for me. But I'm doing this mostly in a (very minor, I'm sure) show of support for DK in this ABC crap.

Maybe we could all change our avatars to DK in a show of support. Don't know if this would make any difference in the "big picture," but an intra-DU coming together, no matter how trivial, might be a good thing.

I know this may be meaningless, but I thought I'd explain why I was doing this, in case anyone noticed, and to maybe say we all might want to - maybe for just a week. We all love and respect DK. And he's earned it.

I like DK, but I dislike several elements of his agenda. I would never willingly back DK when there are other choices closer to my way of thinking. That is what democracy is all about. I support your right to back DK, you support my right to vote for Wallace the Frog and in the end, we'll see who wins.

I'm as po'd about abc pulling AS and CMB reporters too.

In the debate, those were the three, not taking away from any others, that seemed to have, without pause, somethig there once you scratch the surface. Inegrity, and sincerity. The others impressed me as a little over-rehearsed. DK, CMB, AS didn't have to search for the right words or fall back on rehearsed lines. They spoke from the heart.

Nothng against the others, but these three rock.

So yeah, I'm as po'd about AS and CMB being written off by the media as much as I am about DK.

Thanks for the great idea. I have always been a Kucinich supporter. Put on his avatar, wear it for a week and visit his web site. Donate a little money to enable him to comfortably stay in the race. Even if you do not support him he is making a huge difference by bringing up the issues of BBV and the media. If he does not get the nomination he will at least have made the voting public aware of the manipulation of our system.

I said, "Did you know Kucinich supports legalizing the recreational use of pot?"

He wrote the name down and said he'd contribute to the campaign.

Everybody should pick an issue DK uniquely stands for and tell someone who believes in that issue.
