Former President Jimmy Carter, in an interview on CNN's "Larry King Live" slated to air at 9 tonight, says he is impressed by Howard Dean, the Democratic presidential nomination front-runner, although he has no immediate plans to endorse a candidate. He says Dean's campaign is similar to his own 1976 run for the presidency but has the added boost of Internet financing. He also says he thinks it would be a mistake for Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-N.Y.) to get into the race now, despite her popularity. It's "going to take a few years to separate herself from her husband and let the general public know that she can stand on her own feet and that she has her own agenda and she's a good political player on her own," Carter tells King.
