Where is the rage?
After a Cabinet meeting at the White House on Thursday, Bush said: "The taxpayers understand why it makes sense for countries that risk lives to participate in the contracts in Iraq. It's very simple. Our people risked their lives. . . . Friendly coalition folks risked their lives, and, therefore, the contracting is going to reflect that."

I thought our soldiers lost their lives because Iraq had WMD and ties to Al Qaeda. Smirk couldn't do any worse at foriegn policy if he tried.

German Chancellor Gerhardt Schroeder said "International law must apply." Our President Bush retorted: "International law? I better call my lawyer."

Does he think that is funny? And now he is sending the biggest asshole in the country to ask France, Germany, and Russia to forget the debt Iraq owes them?

1. Bush likes internation law so much that there will be war
crime trials in Iraq. Talk about hypocrascy - he shold be on the list along with his dad and Reagan.

The talk of going on the Euro for oil trade is getting louder since the dollar is dropping so much. When that happens, our economy dies. Bush is such an idiot.

3. I happened to see the 'better call my lawyer' remark
on the news. Between the remark itself, the tone of his voice and the smirk on his face it was more than alarming. Any world leader who jokes about international law is a danger to all. I can't imagine how any American can be 'proud' of this man.

4. What I loved was seeing the talking head repeatedly claiming
that Russia, France and Germany "sided with Saddam" and therefore are left out because when these other significant and powerful nations (like Eretria - sp? - and Micronesia for chrissakes) sided with the coalition, they deserved to divide the spoils. "Siding with Saddam." WHAT CRAP!!!

And I don't know what was worse, what the guy said, or the fact that nobody called him on it and made him stop lying and misrepresenting!

8. tell me about it....
I heard a Rethug on CNN this morning saying that "it's a just thing to do because those countries didn't want to participate in the liberation of Iraq...they tried to block the liberation of the Iraqi people from the beginning..."

I'm yelling at the TV..."I thought the war was about WMD and disarming Iraq...BONEHEAD...liberation excuse came after they realized the were busted on the WMD issue...!"

He shouldn't blow that off...I hope he does have a lawyer...I would love to see him try and weasel his way out of this...

International law doesn't exist, it's just an attempt by foreign nations to control the US. Flouting international law is good as far as they are concerned.

Nevermind that international law is based on treaties between nations - treaties the US signed and ratified.

10. Where is the rage?
I'm afraid we're all raged out. I get rage every damn day since selection 2000. Doesn't do any good. As long as Bush doesn't get his weiner kissed in the white house, he can do and say as he damn well pleases.

It wakes up in a new world everyday. Just one look at a picture of Jim Baker will set it off. Let alone a remark like that from Smirk.

11. sad thing... the ap report about the meeting... doesn't mention
his snappy little comment. It would have been carried throughout the news wires had it been Clinton.

As would the question about abuse of tax dollars (eg overpaying, noncompetitive bids, price gouging by bushes cronies rather than competitive bidding, while services get seriously cut here.)

Imperial Amerika is all about special privilege, aristocracy, and Stalin-level double-standards.

17. Anything Der Fuhrer says will be protected by Corporate TV Pravda
and of course, more than half (if not) of the Imperial Subjects of Amerika are either propgandized into Fuhrer worship or blinded by their many entertainment options into stupified docility.

Histiry repeats because people never really change much, remaining suspceptible to the same lies in every age...

18. Trust me, Ive got rage
Its inside me festering. My rage is real . Sometimes I sit and stew and feel like screaming , but mostly I just simmer on a slow rolling boil. Have you ever been cheated on by a girlfreind or a spouse? I have and its as close as I can get to explaining how I feel. I feel betrayed by my country and its citizens who stupidly contribute to their own deaths, like some puppet on a string being happily danced about,by an evil puppeteer. What can I do about such rage?

20. Sending letters to Rep. & Senators calling for impeachment...
I do believe both of his violations of international law when taken with Article VI of the US Constitution... " This Constitution, and the laws of the United States which shall be made in pursuance thereof; and all treaties made, or which shall be made, under the authority of the United States, shall be the supreme law of the land; and the judges in every state shall be bound thereby, anything in the Constitution or laws of any State to the contrary notwithstanding," show his complete disregard of his oath of office. Bush violated the UN Charter when he invaded Iraq and now believes he is above international law.
