Poll question: The Most Honest Candidate
I think one of the most important needs for America now is a president who is honest -- who says what he or she means and means what he or she says.

Putting aside your current candidate preference (please, try really hard), who do you think is the most honest of all the candidates?

And when you vote, remember what business they are all in:
Politics.

1. If anyone says George Bush, I think there might be a group ass kicking.

Most of the candidates are honest,
but I would have to say that Kucinich is the most truthful. B-)

4. Truthful/honest
Pretty much interchangeable for this poll.

2. Holy Joe
I don't agree with him on most things, and I would never want him in the white house, but he is an honest man.

3. Gephardt
In no way do I support his candidacy though for the ironic reason that his straightforward approach reveals exactly howe he can be played by the other side. He makes great speeches and policy in the House, and great blunders in working with or fighting the other side.

He is like many other "good" candidates this world is not friendly toward. "Honest Abe" was a bit more circumspect and even cunning as one must be in the real world. As far as values or policy go ALL the above candidates pass muster compared to the GOP Empire.

They mean what they are and are trying to communicate through reefs of lies and retranslators. Look at Jimmy Carter, probbaly unelectable at most periods of our history. He finally now gets the "betrayal" of Zell Miller? Be honest, but don't overproject your honesty onto the undeserving.

5. The Very Last
was Jimmy Carter! His honesty may have slayed him in his duration as president of these United States. He came to D.C. with a vision that was undermined by the Faustiaan machinanations that control this empire we entitle as America.
I feel that even if honorables such as Yashua, Ghandi, Mother Teresa, or anyone with moral credibility once entering the vile machine we know as U.S. government would have the fortitude as not to dance with Mr D!
