24. Se hablan Portenhol o Españguese.
Mostly southern Brazileros speak a Portugese with some Spanish words included and some of the harder sounds of Spanish. Brazilian borders many Spanish speaking areas where the language mixes.

The R in Portugese is airy and more like the Spanish J (jota pronounced HO-TAH). South of Curtitiba, Brazil the R gets the Spanish slapping of the tounge that sounds like an American D-D-D-D-D or purring like a cat.

If you know Spanish, Portugese is not too difficult to understand. Portenhol is even easier.

12. Two shortstops is never enough.
Hell everyone should have 3 or 4.

All I can say, as a long-time Rangers fan, is that the Sox are more than welcome to A-Rod. Yup, spending all that money on him sure did my team a world of good. :eyes:

19. So how 'bout it , Will, were there any observers present?
I thought it was an interesting question.

23. Observers?
I must have missed that. There were the journalists, Franken's wife (who is totally awesome btw), and three or four Kerry campaign staffers. That was about it.

26. OK Thanks, Will.
His Idea seemed to be that at an event that was somewhat less formal

ie 'livingroom' , that he wondered if wives, girlfriends, boyfriends

etc. may have been along for the chance to see Kerry in that

alternate setting

15. Well, it may not have been pretty writing...but
I found it entertaining.

And I'm glad Giordano weighed in on this.

16. I don't know. He has some credentials, but ,
it had already been proven that he has left out important information while trying to make a case that Howard Dean was lying about his non support of the war. Very suspicious!

18. Al Used To Publish Narco News Bulletin, He Won An Important Court Victory
for All Online Publishers.

www.narconews.com is still there to read

Notice that original Thread Link is for a 'blog' and maybe you will

understand the informal style of the writing for this piece.

Your trite dismissal of Giordano can only reflect poorly on yourself

for anyone who has followed the Narco News story over the years.

17. All I ask of Hulk
is just a little bit of populism.

Kerry keeps very impressive company, but it also sends a message to me that says "leave the driving to us."

Through no fault of Kerry's, I have a knee-jerk mistrust of that. I need some reassurance that you can connect with us common folk. Pour a little honey on yourself, John Kerry. Hammering Dean is acceptable strategy, but with every swing at Dean there should be an "I feel your pain" message to Dean's supporters (& all of us). I hear what Kerry has to say, but there's some bully tactics in his message that aren't sitting well with me.

Fair enough?
