12:43 PM CST and only ONE THREAD mentions Bush*
I'm looking at the first page of GD and only one thread, ONE measly little thread on the page even mentions bush* in the title.

Hello??? Remember ABB???

Aamazing that DU has forgotten who the real target is in this election. If half as much energy and vitriol were spent on de-throning king george as were spent on bashing candidates, not to mention the resulting energy to defend and debunk the lies being spread, well geez...

Yes, I am a Dean Supporter, but no matter who wins the nomination, that person will have my available support, money, and time. I saw Clark on the Daily Show last night, and I liked what he had to say, and will support him if he wins. I saw Kerry on CSPAN yesterday, and admired what he said and will support him if he wins. Kucinich was here in Milwaukee this week working it, and will support him if he wins. Same for all the candidates.

Keep your eyes on the prize here people and don't let ego get in the way.

just my .02.

1. Just my two cents

We're not running against Bush yet - we've been honing that message for three years.

Now is the time to work on sorting out who is the best candidate.

2. We're ALWAYS running against Bush
He IS the enemy, no matter which one we select or how long it takes.

We are ALWAYS running against Bush.

4. The party as a whole is, yes
But those who are as yet undecided are still seeking information about the candidates.

Given how shabbily the party has treated its constitutents over the past few decades, I would expect this phase of political selection to become steadily more contentious, not less. Until there's a change in the way the leadership conducts themselves, that is.

3. Agreed
I wish some of the mid-major (I'm talking directly to you, Kerry, Lieberman, and Edwards) candidates would take a cue and get the hell out of the race so we can have a real debate among the real candidates (with a few non-threatening candidates saying their peace and going away). Only Dean, Clark, and Gephardt have a chance to win the nomination, and Dean is starting to make that look like a long shot too. Rather than waste the party's time and the nation's short attention span on petty squabbling, let's blast away at Bush.

6. and 500 threads about why the other threads are bad
No one complains about candidate bashing unless it's their candidate being bashed. Now that Dean's the frontrunner, he's getting is worse - and now the Deanies don't like candidate bashing. Gimme a break! Doesn't any remember HOW Dean got to be the frontrunner? Hint - it wasn't because he or his fans were shy about criticizing other candidates.
