Just watching the Bush press conf on CNN
The thought of educated men and women actually soliciting an opinion from this idiot boggles my mind..

The only thing that mollifies me is that I know its Dick Cheney who's actually runs things, at least he'll keep George from playing with that red button like he keeps asking.

1. Was it as bad (for Bush) as the last press conference?
You remember...when Bush said to the reporter that "you have a face for radio".

That press conference was an all time low.

2. More Condescending Bullshit
Edited on Fri Dec-12-03 02:52 PM by IMRadioactive
Berate reporters...treats them like crap and they fawn all over him for their coveted accesss. Obscene.

The crawl at the bottom of the screen offers more substance than this humanoid shit.

On Edit: Notice how these are "pop" conferences...on a Friday...so the heavy hitters aren't around and the second string gets to play big shot.

Also notice no camera shots of the gallery. I was gonna look for Helen Thomas <g>

4. A reporter just questioned * about a NYTimes Editorial...
... and * responded that he doesn't read such editorials, and that the reporter should keep that in mind, and re-phrase his question.

:puke:

20. as a *student* with a *job*
I wish I had the luxury of not doing a lot of reading these days. heh.

But even if I didn't have to read, I would! Is Mrs. Pickles gonna get on her husband's case about this? Sorta detracts from her bold, groundbreaking literacy campaign.

9. he is such an ass...
the reporter started off with "sir, what is your response to the NY Times..." and Bush cut him off right there and said "I don't read those, you better reask you question."

He just said "I don't have a lot of time for reading these days."

When did he ever???

Oh, good one: "Our administration is for a strong dollar."

Right....

10. any reporters ask a hard, serious question?
or is it the usual softball crap?

Has a reporter ever asked Bush or his spokesweasel to explain how the war in Iraq is related to the war on terrorism?

19. He really does Dems a favor every time he has one of these so-called
press conferences. Reinforces what an ignoramus he is and gives the Freepers the willies eventhough they won't admit it.

Come on folks, everyone of you know you are smarter than the "selected" President. Doesn't it smart?
