Is Dean the reincarnation of William Jennings Bryan?
Looks like we got a good old-fashioned populist movement on our hands. This time however, the movement has a very good chance of succeeding.

Dean has got spine and a fighting attitude which Bryan severely lacked. He is no "cowardly lion".

Perhaps Bryan is back in the form of Dean to do it right this time

Or perhaps this is a symptom of not sleeping for a few days from studying US economic history.

1. I'd go with the latter choice and,
for your candidate's good name, would prefer he be compared to Clarence Darrow! ;-)

has limited appeal......

I know what you mean about not sleeping and studying though. ;)

3. William Jennings Byrant was a FOOL - Dean isn't!
The only "Monkey Trial" Dean will be at is BushCORP's corruption proceedings.

Scopes trial was 1923.

5. He didn't win any of them, did he?
Exactly. That's just another reason why they are different.
