Pocket Change for our Future |
|
Combining thoughts from recent posts about pocket change and money spent on campaigns: Maybe we can dedicate our pocket change from this day forward to the democratic candidate for President. Throw that money in your container at home and when we have a nominee, forward that money to him/her for the sole purpose of kicking bush out of our house. I envision millions. Money well spent I might add.

for those who collect pocket change at the end of the day rather than using it as they make purchases, which is what I do.

I can probably have $100 saved up by the time we have a nominee. That's a sizeable chunk of money if we can get 30,000 DUers to do that.

I love it when a plan comes together. Lets spread the word. A penny here, a penny there, pretty soon we're talking about some serious money.

I think this is a great idea. I would also add something where DU can keep track of how much DUers have contributed. Something where you can see how much "pocket change for our future" has been contributed.
