Dean Supporters; YOU are the weakest link

Dollars to donuts YOU guys are the targets of this stuff, not Governor Dean. The level of emotion the charges the Dean campaign and the Internet sites and even DU makes you vulnerable.

You don't see Governor Dean yelling and carrying on about this stuff do you? Of course not. He's a professional and he knows how to deal with stuff like this.

You guys, with all of your fiery rhetoric and intense beleif in your candidate, would be dynamite in a general election where there was only one enemy, and only one direction for your passion to flow.

The primary is different. Here, that kind of passion is dangerous because it is easily focused on other targets, targets who are also people and who are no more likely to forget or forgive than you are.

If I wanted to sabotage the Democratic Party, I would aim right at you guys and prick and tweak you until you exploded. I think that is what is going on because its the kind of thing I would do.

Don't make it easy for your foes. Get a grip. Think good thoughts, focus your energy on positive thoughts and keep your big mouths (and keyboards) quiet.

Or not. Its up to you. I'm only offering some free advice that might spare you some ulcers and might help your candidate survive the next few months.

You aren't the only people who can sit home on election day, you know.
