They found Saddam too late..........

Even for a PR benefit.

I'm confident that most Iraqi citizens are glad to see him go, but Saddam long ago lost most of his relevance.

Finding him in a lonely little hole with rifles and pistols actually feels so anti-climactic.

There was another police station bombing this morning, and as the attacks continue even after Saddam is gone, it actually undercuts the reason for the invasion.

If Saddam is in custody and nothing changes, then what did we accomplish by attacking Iraq? The resistance to our presence is fully formed now.

4. TWO QUESTION...

Would Saddam been able to direct the resistance - based on the rag-tag he looked and that he was in a hole in the ground.

Secondly, and most importantly - will this give to rise to a new person "taking over" the resistance to the US and things being worse than before.

I would like other people's POV on this>

No-one would be a suicide bomber for Saddam.

Better than the people them selfs did not like us, You know how Americans like to think the world loves us. I think their is a number of others leading this mess. The blame is on us as we should not be taking over countries. We will be sure to keep bases their as that was half the point.We need to be in the middle of the oil fields. I am not sure what reason they are giving this week for why we went, so maybe WMD are on board once more.

Bush would never have allowed the troops to come home without capturing Saddam.

We have him. We can now declare a victory and leave.
