We seem to be acting like we got the bastards who did 9-11.

I am happy that a dictator who hgad been sdupported and propped up and financed by the Bushes and Rumsfeld and Cheney and our CIA etc. iis no longer able to hurt the Iraqi people.

I would feel the same if any brutal dictator and killer was deposed and sent to justice.

I am hopeful that conditions improve for the troops and that the violence diminishes there and our troops can now come home.

But our refrain must be the following: Saddam is gone. Was it worth the lives of Tens of thousands of Iraqis? Was it worth the lives of 450 American troops? Was it worth the maiming and iunjury of ten thousand Amewrican troops. The suicides of dozens of troops.

Where is the joy going to take us?

Bush giveth Saddam in the first place and now he taketh him away (actually the troops taketh him away).

Was it worht it for all our children and their children to die???

And where the F*ck is OSAMA???

The man the Bushes claim "DID" 9-11.

This is called transference. Bush has tricked us into believing that Saddam IS Osama and that there is now some CLOSURE.

THAT is bullshit.

It will NEVER bring back our dead troops. It will never, in my oppinion, have made the massive number of deaths worth it (given the very real alternatives to this war)

It is STILL not justice for those killed on 9-11. It STILL does not excuse the Bush lies about WMD and the lies whioch led to this war.

Don't get me wrong: I pray this will hasten our troops return home and make our troops safer and the Iraqis freer.

But it will NEVER excuse the lies and treason of our own president and all his men because THEY put and kept Saddam in power and THEY (the BFEE) Created this monster.

They get NO credit for this at all. It is as if they finally called off one of their own vicious attack dogs which had gotten out of their control. Just because THEIR dog stopped killing it does NOT excuse those who kept him in power (i.e. Bush, Cheney, Rummy, Bush I, et al)

2. Gives the Bushies a little credit -
They got the deer that was eating the flowers in the garden.

Now they have to get the guy who burned down the house.

4. exactly
since most Americans still seem to think Saddam was behind 9-11 and the world terror networks (though evidence of any of that is invisible) - this willbe a very useful facade for Bush to hide behind and gloat about while our troops continue to die and we continue to kill civilians.

It is good that Saddam is in custody.

But it is NOT good that the Bush perpetual war will kill many more, probably, than Saddam ever did.
