That can be good and bad. Every time we do that it seems to turn Arabs off on America even if the person is bad.I never felt that shame was a good way to go. I never used it with my children either. for the people that buy into the thought that we are the good guys no matter what we do. For anyone who dislikes that kind of behavior it will look increasingly worse as they gloat over it. Bad guy but he does not play into any of the reasons they gave us for going there. In my mind it will make them look even more petty and more inhumane.

I know that folks might find this hard to believe but our troops are pretty professional for the most part and understand the job they have to do.

Prague, 11 December 2003 (RFE/RL) -- The U.S.-appointed Iraqi Governing Council this week set up a special tribunal to try former members of the Iraqi Ba'athist regime for crimes against humanity.

The creation of the tribunal, which will be staffed and led by Iraqi nationals, resulted from months of work. It will take many more months before the first trials actually start in Baghdad.

Iraqi Governing Council president Abd al-Aziz al-Hakim, in announcing the tribunal yesterday, said it was a historic achievement.

"This court will try cases of genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes committed from 17 July 1968 till 1 May 2003," al-Hakim said.
