It would be poison for any of the candidates to want to be on the
ticket with Howard Dean now. -- As a side note Al Gore has made the worst political decision of his life, he jumped on the wrong train.

1. How so?
Explain. I don't see anything of the sort. Maybe we should wait and see instead of trying to analyze the entire outcome of a Presidential election because of one media event? Why are some people so willing to knock down one of our candidates, and then pile on him like wild ravaging dogs? It's really sickening to watch.

2. So the war was not a lie?
That is Dean's stance, it is based on lies. I don't understand. Did something change the lies?

3. if anything, this weakens Clark's position
it helps Bush's image on foreign policy and national security, which were supposed to be Clark's strong suits.

it's still "the economy, stupid".

5. I don't buy it.
The only people who truly (truly) believe that Dean's a one-noter are hard-core freeper-types. The Gore endorsement is the first time many people out there had even HEARD of the guy, which as good, because it put his name out there, so that the undecided could do some of their own research. That's a good thing. Dean has himself released a gracious, pragmatic congratulations to Bush today. Also, the war as STILL unjustified, and we entered into it for different reasons than the ones we now claim, the intelligence we used to jump in was sexed up, and anyone who takes a look at DEan's positions on international conflicts knows that the guy's no hippie, but a true multilateralist.

Good for you for keeping on point and continuing the string of ad hominem, underhanded flamebait attacks on Dean without including a stitch of fact or statistic. Gives us DEaners a chance to hone our arguing skills. Thanks!
