I'm surprised to see people on this board assuming that the truth is being told about Saddam having guns with him when he was captured.

We are being fed pure propaganda. We actually have no idea how/where/why/when he was caught.

Has anyone seen the guns? Has anyone see him be "talkative"?

No. This administration is very good with "story". That is "Story" in a sense that they know how to create a myth.

The British Airways pilot spotting Air Force One on the way to Irarq is a perfect example. Seems like a harmless little lie, but ... it creates the myth.

We can't believe anything these people tell us. Guns? Maybe, maybe not. Probably not. Talkative? Maybe, maybe not. If they did have him cornered, they could have gassed him with God-Knows-What to the point where he would have been high as a kite when he got out. Tranquilizer darts, who knows?

We don't know anything.

The video they released that we're seeing ad infinitum, of him getting his hair checked for lice, and the flashlight in his mouth -- staged. 100% staged.

These people are masters or propaganda. Remember that!

1. The military guy who gave the press conference
this morning said that Saddam said almost nothing and that he had a pistol on him. That's all I know..

2. Possibly the AK's belonged to the other two who were guards
And Saddam would probably have had the pistol.

4. Is this turkey real or not
Is it Saddam or not? Will they do DNA tests. Wouldn't surprise me if it was one of his look alikes. Laugh would be on bush.

I don't believe anything that comes out of this white house.

6. Probably the lookalike
who got the short straw. :D

They'd all have similar DNA anyway, being relatives.

5. Anyone else remember a few weeks ago
when Repuke Rep. Ray LaHood told his hometown paper Saddam's capture was imminent? Was he already in custody then?
