Where's Osama?

Does anybody have this feeling?

Saddam's capture may have a boost to Bush's approval ratings but so did Bush holding a plastic turkey. I get a funny feeling that right before the 2004 election, the announcement will come on the news. Osama bin Laden Captured. Bush's ratings soar just a week before the election.

Does anybody think that is in the realms of the possible?

1. it's his final ace in the hole

basically, he's almost played all of his cards and we STILL have a chance. Could we withstand an osama capture? probably not.

2. It's certainly possible.

But other possibilities include blowback from any of Bush's assaults on virtually every institution, nation and the environment. I'm still hoping the European Union will declare a trade war, focusing on Republican states.

I see October 15, 2004. The race between W and *unnamed democratic candidate* is too close to call.

In a secret bunker, somewhere in afghanistan, CIA agents yank a tall, thin bearded figure from a cell and toss him into the back of a transport truck. They arrive at a cave in the remote mountains lead this figure into the cave and force him to sit down on a rock. They place an unloaded russian made machine gun next to him and radio US military HQ...

Hours later, FOX news broadcasts: DARING MIDNIGHT RAID YIELDS OSAMA BIN LADEN!
