Join the Nobody But Dean Movement
Edited on Mon Dec-15-03 12:36 PM by KaraokeKarlton
Thanks to campaigning for 2 years, 75% of Democrats want Howard Dean to be the nominee. We have a grassroots organization to ensure Howard Dean gets the nomination. We invite supporters of all candidates to join our organization. Our goal is to organize the 75% of Democrats who support Dean to vote in their respective states for Dean in that state. The campaign site www.deanforamerica.com is up and running, and we anticipate to garner the even more grassroots support than we,ve been running on. So, please join the Dean Campaign (www.deanforamerica.com). I ask the antiDean folks not to flame as I do not flame their antiDean threads. Thank you for your time.

I endorse Howard Dean for president.

3. No
Howard is my guy but this crap has to stop. I'll take a bullet for Clark or Kerry if it means getting rid of the shrub.

I just wanted to show people how incredibly DUMB the "Stop Dean" happy horseshit really is...AND how undemocratic and unproductive it is to the Democratic process.

9. Satire or Not, Fraudulently posing as a Dean Supporter with links
is dirty.

You should be ashamed.

Those who honestly want Dean - many of us -- want anybody but Bush (almost).

But for those who really believe that what is best (as in the proposal by Ted Rall, whom I greatly admire) is for the Dems to untie behind the frontrunner -- the idea that the nominee should be nobody but Dean is a legitimate point of view. I do not share it. I would be happy with MOST of the candidates as President. I would vote for any of them over Bush almost any day of the week (I have grave doubts sometimes about whether Clark might be worse than Bush -- but these are doubts about him, not convictions).

But posting a fake Dean support piece, even as satire (unless it is labelled so) is really dirty and out to be prohibited here.

I am alerting - not because I think this is so damn awful -- but because it is intentionally misleading. If it were labelled as satire I would have no problem with it.
